am now at last I rested again, for the Cebit day was exciting and exhausting at the same time
. But let's start from scratch:
am I to be planned, were close to 4 clock in the morning, because by 5 clock Petcher wanted to stand in front of my door to pick me up for the trip to Cebit. It all went as planned (even if I only had 3 hours sleep) and we got on the road yet from the Berufsgeocacher. The trip passed without stopping and wireless traffic, so we had already arrived around 7:30 clock in Hanover. So, I still raised a few special boxes, which are plug some holes in my "Finds by laying date, and then we went to the fairgrounds. Quick good parking found on the jacket and on the entrance. Waited 20 minutes, at 9:00 clock the doors were then opened and went inside.
at the exact moment Petcher got the email with the multi-Publish . The first priority had been directly addressed
, on the way we have picked chaos that accompanied us from now on. For details, you can find in my log . The moral of the story: We are for this multi approximately 2 km in the goose-step from station to station ran what my feet were not exactly on their penny-10cm heels
great, but I survived it
. Also, I had also even my sneakers while
. Lo and behold, it was worth it: We were 3-6 at the final person and could get hold of us as the strictly limited Jeremy Irish @ CeBIT Global Confernces Coin (10 copies)
:
You may discover they like to
if you find it as nice as I
While the others are rather disappointed that there is a mypersonalgeocoin coin, I find it great! I feel almost honored to have received, finally showing so, how quickly we were
. I mean, it was an STF, which I find not that bad! Thus, the eventful day began at Cebit. Following the Multi-Fund, we parted first up and Peter and I explored the halls, grabbing schonmal from a few things, informed us, etc. (what one normally at Cebit containing so does
). To clock it was 12:00 then the Conference Center to attend the talk by Jeremy Irish, "The History of Geocaching.
In summary, it was a nice, informative lecture. Jeremy in this context also to the future and answered as schonmal some of my earlier collection of questions that I am actually following wanted to make Round Table. The audio recording of the lecture you can listen to HERE .
Following 10 guests were invited to sit down with Jeremy to himself at the round table and ask him questions. In the end it was not a round table but rather a get-together on couches, which already had almost from the living room
. For drinks you could be kind enough to talk, is a record of the discussions it soon HERE (direct link follows if it is online).
Jeremy is really very nice and authentic, not played or snooty. Simply cool
! The question and discussion I really liked, you could learn something new (as you can hear soon in BGCs podcast) and I'm dashing "photographic evidence" of me with Jeremy Irish in live and real
(no Madame Tussauds
)!
I hope all your questions could be answered with the lecture, and the podcast. After the lecture 60-10 logs per second sent at the weekend said, I have to ask why Geocaching.com is sometimes so slow just pinched
. Thus, a Amount of traffic I would have then not be able to imagine!
In the next few days I will write you a German language summary, which summarizes the most important facts and details. But no matter to me for first kale-eating and relax a little vacation to him some day be
! Until then, I say goodbye with a beautifully silly photo of Jeremy and me
