When I finally penetrated into the river area, where I can use the Polingstange (I was paddling uphill), this was widely acclaimed for Poling boat's reputation. Standing with the long Polingstange it can move much smoother than with the paddle and even a little violent moving water is so very stable that I could calmly bring out the camera to take a picture. It can be edging stand (up to the gunwale, I am not married, is so rare and really necessary, but in all likelihood well with the boat feasible). When edging is relatively early on the V-keel line from the water, so that the boat is very lively. And that is supposed to be when it aufkantet.
Exclusively for Poling so Explorer is really great. For tandem paddling probably are. For solo paddling less, so I let myself float on the way back.
Competitiveness use the Explorer in the Kevlar version. He is still a little stiff and significantly lighter. Therefore, he is probably the Poling something more agile. But since I need a boat with which I would also be paddled solo the Explorer just a temporary solution for me. If not the worst.
